www.shoto-kan.com was originally set up by Mr Scot Mertz, who has recently been focusing his energy on Maatsu-ryu and other karate-related activities and found he lacked the time and interest necessary to keep this website going. The top banner and below tiger image were designed by Mr Mertz. This site is currently being rebuilt and is now maintained by Jon Keeling, of JKA of Silicon Valley.
